2 of my friends at work today used this excuse to justify buying cases of bottled water, then laughed and blew me off when I pointed out how ridiculous an excuse it is.

I wanted to respond to an email at work with an XKCD comic, but fear of negative repercussions changed my mind. It seems silly…
Never mind. Mid-post I convinced myself there was no good reason I shouldn’t send it.
Fear sucks.
For context sake, the email asked what sudo commands the DBA group should have to make Oracle installations and patches easier. If you don’t know which comic I responded with, you should spend some quality time in the XKCD archive.

As some of you have heard, I’ll be working in Valley Forge for my second co-op. Unfortunately, that means I will have a brutal commute.
The scoop — I want someone to rent my room.
The commute for me would take just as long if I drove from home on the PA Turnpike as it would if I fought the Schuylkill Expressway madness. The benefit, however, is that living at home would eliminate the ~$400 rent plus utilities each month.
